When choosing a title partner, we know that stability is key. Which is why at Ohio Real Title we are proud to have offered that stability to our partners for more than 15 years, and have many professionals on our team who have been with us for nearly all of that time.
When asked to reflect on this past year, Ohio Real Title President, Ryan Marrie, says, “This has been a year of trying to manage day-to-day and week-to-week and I think we have done an amazing job of it. Real estate is going to be a driver for years to come and it will be fun to see the growth and opportunities that come.”
We are proud of the culture that we have created at ORT, and we are proud of our employees who make us the quality company that we are. Our team members play a huge role in our on-going success and we are thrilled to welcome two new Sales Reps.
Meet our newest team members, Sales Reps Dennis Bassett and Diane Scartz.
Meet Dennis Bassett
Sales and Marketing Representative, Columbus Branch
Born in South Carolina, Dennis graduated from Winthrop University before moving to Ohio and earning a degree from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining ORT, he was a sales counselor for a builder in both the Columbus and Savannah, GA, markets. He now calls Hilliard, Ohio home with his wife, Sarah and their sons Hudson and Bennett and the family dog, Stanley. As for joining ORT, he says, “I’m appreciative for the opportunity to work for Ohio Real Title and can’t wait to hit the ground running.”
We had the chance to talk with Dennis to learn more about his goals for ORT and what he likes to do outside of the office.
What are your hobbies?
Homebrewing, playing golf, smoking meats (pork butts, chicken, ribs, etc.), and I am an avid soccer fan.
What organizations do you like to support?
Doctors Without Borders, Feeding America, Vietnam Memorial Fund, and Feed the Children
What are your goals in your new role with Ohio Real Title?
My main goal is to continue to nurture my already existing relationships with realtors and lenders, as well as grow my business to help contribute to the overall sales of the company.
What are you looking forward to in this new role?
I’m looking forward to the autonomy to utilize my time in the most efficient way possible to best expand my business.
Meet Diane Scartz
Sales and Marketing Representative, Cleveland Branch
Diane began her career in the real estate industry in 1987 as Owner, Manager of a Century 21 real estate franchise before entering the title industry in 1994. She says, “I am proud to bring my 25 years of title experience to Ohio Real Title, an innovative and progressive company that understands the importance of client communication and the use of technology to provide its clients with a streamlined workflow that fosters a successful closing experience.”
Diane is a member of the Akron Cleveland Association of Realtors, Lake Geauga Area Association of Realtors, and is a licensed Title Representative for the State of Ohio. She values continual learning and most recently completed a one year one-on-one sales coaching program with Southwestern consulting.
We had the chance to talk with Diane to learn more about her goals for ORT and what she likes to do outside of the office.
What are your hobbies?
Gardening and hiking, I’m an avid reader, and I enjoy spending time with my great nephew and niece.
What organizations do you like to support?
Elder care and community outreach programs through my church, as well as the Transplant Center at the Cleveland Clinic.
What are your goals in your new role with Ohio Real Title?
To continue to build the company’s client base and reputation by focusing on and managing clients expectations and having FUN!
What are you looking forward to in this new role?
Working with a like-minded, team-oriented staff of professionals and to continue to enhance my knowledge of the industry and the technical advances available to provide our clients with smooth, successful closing experiences.
