We recently caught up with Ohio Real Title President, Ryan Marrie, for a look back at 2019 and a glimpse at what’s to come in 2020.
2019 was all about fine-tuning the growth from previous years, maximizing and streamlining infrastructure investments, and continuing to increase market share in existing locations. The company is seeing the benefits of the time and resources invested over the past few years, as market share continues to grow at all of Ohio Real Title’s offices in 2019.
In fact, Ohio Real Title is up 15 percent in terms of new orders, closed orders, and overall revenue, a significant increase over 2018. The company continues to see the benefits of an aggressive social media and web presence, Marrie says.
In November, a ninth Ohio Real Title office opened in Pepper Pike in eastern Cuyahoga County. The company had started to outgrow its main office in downtown Cleveland and had a desire to increase market share on the city’s east side, Marrie says.
Overall, the market is much stronger at this time than it was at the same time last year, Marrie says, and he’s looking for the trend to continue into 2020. Inventory continues to remain low as far as residential houses listed for sale, but rates are back to historic lows and demand continues to be strong.
“We’ve settled into the Columbus market, and the team we have in place is really terrific. We’re feeling confident looking to 2020,” Marrie says.
And as the real estate market continues to thrive after the recession, Marrie says, Ohio Real Title continues to see more and more competition enter the market. “After years of growth we do see more and more competitors coming into the market, but we feel very confident in our ability to take care of our existing clients and staff and continuing our growth,” he says.
Looking to 2020, Ohio Real Title will maximize existing locations while always being open and on the lookout for new opportunities.
“I really like where we’re at as a company as a whole. Our company culture is strong across all offices, and our external sales teams and internal teams work really well together,” Marrie says.
