As the Branch Manager of the Pepper Pike location of Ohio Real Title, Kristen Morelli serves as an Escrow Officer while overseeing all day-to-day operations of the office. Prior to joining ORT, she spent 20 years in health care, most recently serving as the manager of assisted living and memory care facility.
When Kristen was ready for a career change in March 2021, her brother Ryan – who also happens to be the President of ORT – thought she would be a good fit for the company. She began her career with ORT as an Escrow Coordinator before moving up to an Escrow Officer and now Branch Manager.
Working to learn as much as she can in a short period of time, Kristen wants to “make sure our branch is successful and our agents and clients are happy and have smooth transactions.” Of course, she also notes that she is “doing my best to make my brother and the company proud.”
We recently had the opportunity to talk with Kristen Morelli about her work, as well as how she spends her time away from Ohio Real Title.
What personal qualities do you have that help you to be successful in your role at ORT?
A very strong focus on customer service. I want those that I work with both in the company and with our agents/clients to know they can come to me for whatever they need and I will always do my best to help, as quickly as I can. I work hard until the job gets done and I make sure to learn as much as I can. I also try my best to make sure my employees know how much they are valued while also ensuring they get to have some fun together also. Teamwork is key and we have a great team!
What makes Ohio Real Title different from other title companies?
The day-to-day work title companies do is fairly similar across the board, but we differentiate ourselves by building relationships with everyone we work with and making sure those relationships grow and stay strong over the years. We want our clients to know they are more than just a number to us and we are here to help them with whatever they need.
What excites you about the future of ORT?
We recently expanded into Florida and I can’t wait to see what is next. With the talent we have within the company the sky is the limit!
Tell us about your family…
I have been married for 11 years and have 2 children, Kayleigh is 10 and Mackenzie is 7. I come from a large Irish family and my husband has a large Italian family. Family is everything 🙂
When you are not working, how do you like to spend your free time?
Most of my free time is spent at my kids’ sporting events but when I get the chance for some me time I enjoy golfing, boating, Broadway shows, a good movie, and spending time with family.
