As Closing Manager for Ohio Real Title in the Cleveland market, Paula Kochis is ultimately responsible for disbursing files for transaction closings and overseeing all post-closing follow up. Working in title and escrow for more than 30 years, Paula says, “I can’t remember anything before this!”
When asked about Ohio Real Title, she says that she has enjoyed watching the company expand over her lengthy career with the agency. “We are given the chance to learn new roles,” she says. She appreciates that ORT offers, “a chance for everyone to reach their potential.”
We recently had the opportunity to talk with Paula about her work, as well as how she spends her time away from Ohio Real Title.

ORT is strong on customer service. At most companies, you are a file number, at ORT you and all parties in the transaction matter.
What excites you about the future of ORT?
Continued growth and knowing that we like to be on the cutting edge of the business. We are not afraid of the future!
Tell us about your family
My husband and I have 3 girls…24, 20 & 9. We love to travel, especially beach vacations. We have a dog named Ethel and a turtle named Lucky.
When you are not working, how do you like to spend your free time?
I love doing laundry, going to my daughter’s softball practices, and cleaning the kitchen! Hanging out with my family is my relaxation time.
