The Branch Manager for the Painesville Office of Ohio Real Title, Tina Valentine also is the Escrow Officer and manages the operation of the office. Tina’s career in the title industry started in 1990, and she ultimately joined ORT in 2007.
Not surprisingly, her favorite thing about working with ORT is her fellow employees. And she credits the company with truly caring about their employees, which sets them apart from other companies in the industry.
We recently had the opportunity to talk with Tina about her work, as well as how she spends her time away from Ohio Real Title.

What personal qualities do you have that help you to be successful in your role at ORT?
I have compassion for both my clients and co-workers, which comes from years of experience in the title industry.
How did your role at ORT change during the pandemic?
Over the past 12+months, the volume of closings has increased dramatically. My staff really came together, working together as a team to ensure a successful year.
Personally and/or professionally, what are some lessons learned during the pandemic? How is your new normal different?
Personally, I learned the importance of spending time with family. When it’s taken from you, or is out of your control, you realize how short life is and that you should cherish every moment you get to be with them.
Professionally, I got to be part of a special team that came together and worked very hard. We all put in a lot of overtime because we care about each other, our clients, and the success of ORT.
When you are not working, how do you like to spend your free time?
I love to spend time with my husband and family, especially with my twin grandsons.
What are you watching?
I’m currently watching The Last Kingdom and I love watching The Voice.
What are three words that your clients and/or colleagues have used to describe you?
