This year has brought an abundance of the unknown and – oftentimes – the unwanted and unsettling. But at Ohio Real Title, it thankfully has brought many good things, as well. So as we look towards the beginning of a new year, we want to take a moment to recognize the silver linings and gratitude that we have found as a company and that our team members have found in both their personal and professional lives.
What are you thankful for today?
“Personally, I have learned the importance of letting go and living in uncertainty, notes Andrew Rosen, ORT Human Resources Manager. “What matters is knowing when to let go of the small stuff and be present in the moment. I hope that we don’t forget how important our friends and family are. … [they are] a lot more important than whatever I was doing before.” As for life at Ohio Real Title, Andrew says, “I love the freedom that I have in my daily work.”
Branch Manager and Escrow Officer at the ORT North Ridgeville location, Nanci Huffman values her real estate partners, and says, “I love the long-term relationships we have built.” Throughout this year, she says “I have really learned the practice of self-care to preserve and enhance my life.”
Jennifer O’Malley, Sales and Marketing Representative, encourages others to appreciate what and who you have around you. “I have found that connections with our clients have become more genuine and deeper.” As for her professional life, she says it is the people who work for ORT are what makes it so special and successful. “We have the best people in the industry working to the same goal, a positive client experience. We are a team and we all work together with the same vision for success and growth.”
“Slow down,” says Mary Hogue-Scott, Branch Manager for Canton and New Philadelphia. “Enjoy the ones around you, because tomorrow isn’t promised. Though I am usually always on the go, I didn’t mind, but rather quite enjoyed being “stuck” at home with my husband and baby.” At work, she is thankful for the amount of trust that is granted to her to do the best she can with my responsibilities. “With that, I enjoy problem-solving and working with my teams and agents to ensure everyone is getting the best service!”
Branch Manager of the Westerville location, Mandie Ward strives to live life one day at a time. “Tomorrow is never promised. Live your best life every day.” At ORT, she appreciates the leadership and the way she is made to feel at home. “I have been at many companies and this is my forever home.”
Tammy Oley is the Branch Manager and Escrow Officer for the Pepper Pike location and says she “lives for the moments you can’t put into words.” She also is thankful to work for a company that cares about its customers in a way that utilizes modern technology to get transactions done successfully.
Of his team, Ryan Marrie, President of Ohio Real Title notes, “I’ve been proud and pleased to see how our company as a whole and the industry as a whole has adapted and evolved during very unusual times.”
