PERRYSBURG, OHIO — Ohio Real Title (ORT), one of Ohio’s leading full-service title and settlement companies, announced today that it has acquired Perrysburg Title and Portage Valley Title, two long-established and well-respected names in Northwest Ohio’s real estate community. The transaction takes effect May 4, 2026.
The acquisition expands ORT’s local footprint into Toledo, Perrysburg, and surrounding communities, a region the company has long served through its statewide title process, but where it has not previously maintained a dedicated local presence.

Founded in 1986, Perrysburg Title has built its reputation on a service-first philosophy. Led by attorney-owner Kyle E. Wright, Esq., the company is staffed by trained paralegals capable of handling complex title matters. Portage Valley Title has served as a trusted title partner for area legal practices and was merged with Perrysburg Title under Wright’s ownership in 2017.
In January 2021, Perrysburg Title became an affiliate of The Danberry Company, the top market-share residential brokerage in the Toledo area with approximately 400 agents across eight offices. The Danberry-Perrysburg Title affiliation will continue under the new structure, ensuring uninterrupted service to clients and referral partners.
Under the terms of the acquisition, team members will remain in place. Clients, agents, lenders, and attorneys will continue working with the same familiar faces, in the same offices, with the same local leadership. What changes is the infrastructure behind them: ORT’s technology platform, AI-driven workflow tools, compliance support, and operational scale will be made available to the combined team. These operational efficiencies will allow them to handle higher volumes, serve broader geography, and respond to clients faster than ever before.
The combined organization will now serve a footprint stretching from Southeast Michigan to the Indiana line, south through Lima, Findlay, and Wooster, and east to the Lake Erie communities of Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Island, covering the full Danberry network and well beyond.
