With a passion for the title industry, years of experience, and a drive to serve others, Jessica has already become an invaluable part of team ORT.
Jessica’s career began in lending, where she spent 18 years as a mortgage loan processor before transitioning to title work six years ago. “I love what I do as an escrow officer,” she shares. “I’ve done lending, and while I enjoyed it, I really like title and what title insurance means for homeowners. It’s such a responsible and essential part of the homebuying process—and I couldn’t do it if I didn’t believe in it.”
Jessica also appreciates the opportunity to provide clarity in a field that so many people find confusing. “I enjoy being a resource for anyone who needs it,” she says. “It’s rewarding to help people through a process that few people truly understand.”
Why ORT?
Jessica first heard about Ohio Real Title through former colleagues who spoke highly of the company. Once she joined the team at our Columbus branch, it didn’t take long for her to realize what sets ORT apart. “The benefits, the people, the perks, the acts of appreciation—those are the things that stand out,” she explains.
But for Jessica, it’s also about feeling appreciated. “Since I started here, I’ve felt really valued,” she says. “It’s a stressful field to work in, but it’s easier to work hard when you know you’re seen. ORT’s management and staff make all the difference.”
Jessica is also impressed by ORT’s resilience, even during challenging times. “It’s incredible to me that even with all the challenges in recent years—property values rising, interest rates climbing—Ohio Real Title has remained busy and steady. If a company can weather storms like these, it says a lot about its longevity and strength.”
Jessica’s coworkers would describe her as hard-working, dedicated, and resourceful. “People often come to me with questions, which is really flattering—though I do think I’m a bit of a goofball, too!”

Where can we find you outside of work?
“You’ll usually find me at sporting events with my kids. I have three children—a 23-year-old daughter (and two grandkids), a 19-year-old son, and a 13-year-old son—so I’m always at a football game, on the basketball court, or at a track meet. We also have one dog, Nala, who’s six years old.”
Three things you couldn’t live without?
“My family, my church, and Coke Zero.”
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received?
“When someone shows you who they are, believe them.”
