Ryan Marrie - Real Estate Market

Catching Up with Ryan Marrie of Ohio Real Title

Ryan Marrie, President of Ohio Real Title has never seen anything like it…and he is not talking about the coronavirus. While the real estate market was in many senses the cause of the market crash in 2008-2009, it has actually been a driver in the current atmosphere that has resulted in many real estate companies – including ORT – to have a record summer.

“We are essential. We were able to adapt quickly. And we are moving forward cautiously with safety precautions to keep closings going smoothly.”

ORT has seen demand at an all time high, with Columbus being the hottest market in which ORT operates, followed by Northeast Ohio. “We are seeing 20 offers on a property,” Marrie notes. His theory is such that, “People have been stuck in their houses for months. There’s not much else to spend money on, so renovations, additions, and move-up buyers are ready and they have cash.”

And he is not afraid to give credit where credit is due,“I am super proud of my team in all the markets. We have resumed normal operations in the offices with enhanced cleaning and safety precautions. We have made our customers at ease during closings.”  He notes, “Our goals are being maintained as a company. Everyone learned quickly how to adapt and work with such high volumes.”

As for recruiting new team members? “We are always looking for the best-in-class to join ORT. Absolutely. We are always recruiting.” Click here to learn more and apply.
